Alexandros Mimoglou — Art & Design Project

A Global Cultural Proposal at the Crossroads of Art, Design & Daily Life
Now reaching issue #407 of the Art & Design 2day LinkedIn newsletter, Alexandros Mimoglou’s ongoing project redefines how art history and contemporary culture can intersect through objects we live with. This long-term initiative curates a universe of products where art becomes not just viewed—but worn, inhabited, gifted, and experienced.
Featuring over 100 art-derived product types, the project spans a wide spectrum of creative categories including interior design, fashion, stationery, leisure, and travel accessories. All designs are rooted in iconic artworks—both historic and original—reinterpreted by Alexandros with a bold visual and cultural language.
Product Ecosystem Includes:
- Art Prints: Paper, canvas, acrylic, aluminum, framed/unframed
- Interiors: Rugs, lamps, bedding, curtains, towels, tableware, clocks
- Fashion (Men & Women): Dresses, jackets, swimsuits, sneakers, bags, sportswear
- Travel Accessories: Suitcases, backpacks, flip-flops, waterproof bags
- Leisure & Gifts: Art puzzles, golf balls, yoga mats
- Stationery & Tech: Art calendars, journals, desk mats, laptop sleeves
- Sustainability: Select products use organic cotton or recycled materials
Production & Availability
All items are printed on demand at global production facilities, primarily in the United States and Europe, ensuring high-quality execution and minimized waste.
At present, the eBay store remains closed, with future sales and distribution channels under strategic reconsideration.
Project Vision
This is not just a product range—it's a cultural infrastructure designed to invite professionals across design, architecture, travel, and hospitality to integrate art more meaningfully into the environments and experiences they create.
It serves as a strategic foundation for:
- Hospitality & yacht interiors
- Cultural branding projects
- Cruise and resort art programming
- Boutique retail & museum shops
- Collaborations with designers, curators, and developers
Next Steps
With over 400 newsletters published and a niche professional audience, Alexandros is seeking selective partnerships, licensing agreements, or investment alliances with those who see cultural value as a driver of future-forward design.
