TEXT.
From the Swedish press
In Groznyj and by the Nile, these are the places you'll find Christina Hedlund in her wildly whirling and colour sparkling absatractions. That is to say, the titles of the paintings suggests these geographical positions amongst others. Regarding the somewhat map-like look it is easy to imagine it is all about mother earth seen from the height of the clouds. Starfall, Stardust denotes an interest and a curiosity also in what's high above us. Eruption, Glow, Stamen, Desire - the heat as well, is immense in this artistry.

_______________
Chaos meet Cosmos. Radiance. In behind the colour explode searched and found universe.
The colours carefully embed Egypt. The child is playing world-map and Atlas. A sigh woman breathing somewhere, all is inhabited and surrounded black bird hanging in the air. A pink torso stretching its head into the redness. Drowning and getting lost. Happiness.
