BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1938, Dinos Papaspyrou is a native of Thessaloniki (Greece), where he continues to live. From 1957 to 1987 he worked in a bank, A self-taught painter, his work was first exhibited in 1977- just a year after he began to paint - in the Diagonios Gallery. So far he has mounted seven one-man shows and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions in Thessaloniki and other Greek cities.

He is a member of the Association of Visual Arts of Northern Greece, and of the Greek Chamber of the Visual Arts.

His works may be found in the Municipal Art Gallery of Thessaloniki, the Art Gallery of the Society for Macedonian Studies, the Techni Gallery in Kilkis, the Thessaloniki Museum of Modern Art (under construction), in the Sotiris Tsoukalis and IANOS Collections, as well as in other private collections in Greece and abroad. Works of Papaspyrou have also appeared on the covers of literary publications.
