Career history
1998 Lecturer in Fine Art
Slade School of Art, University College London
I teach undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students working
in Fine Art,
Media, specialising in digital and electronic media. My one day a
week post
includes teaching both theory and practice to fine art students.
1991-1995 Principal Lecturer in Media
Head of Digital Media Research
University of Westminster.
In this post I ran the video department, managing captial
equipment and teaching
budgets for the area and was head of studies for final year
undergraduate
students studying Contemporary |Media Practice. I taught media
theory and
practice to both undergraduate and post graduate students. My
role as Head of
Digital Media Research was to oversee the research work of
academic staff in the
department of Design and Media and advise staff on publication
and exhibition of
their work in order to develop the research culture and outcomes
for this area.
Related duties included preparing submissions of staffs
research for inclusion
in the national Research Assessment Exercise and gaining
sponsorship from
external companies to support research.
