Katerina Zacharopoulou was born in Athens, Greece in 1958. 

She studied painting in Athens (1982-1987) and attended pedagogical programs on Contemporary Art in Paris at the Center Georges Pompidou ( 1990-1994) .

She has organized and presented the series «Good afternoon Mr. Picasso» for the Greek national television channel ET 1 (1994-1995) and the show «Artfil» at Seven- X channel in Greece since 1995.

In 1997 a book and a CD-rom about art were published by the Kastaniotis Editions (Athens, Greece) .

In 1997 she was also chosen by the Chicago Artists International Program Chicago Cultural Center to present her work in Chicago.

In 2000 she organized in NET (New Greek Television) the show «Video Gallery» providing television space to artists for the presentation of their video works some of which were specifically created for this show.

In 2001 she organized in ET 1 the show «Art-Show» to which she presented personalities from the international art world and their works.
