1957 Born in Greece Elias Harissis is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece He currently lives and works in Athens, Greece Education 1977-1982 Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens, Greece Graduated with honorary distinctions In addition to Fine Arts degree, Elias Harissis also holds University diploma in Historical and theoretical studies. Awards 1984 - International Award in Painting, silver medal, 15th Biennial of Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt 1999 - Commemorative Diploma, Biennale Internazionale Del Arte Contemporanea, Firenze, Italy 2001 - Honorary Distinction in World Festival of Art on Paper, Bled, Slovenia 2010 – Parchemin d` Honneur 8`eme Modial de l`Estampe et de la Gravure Originale Triennale de Chamalieres.
