As the maritime world gathers in Düsseldorf today for the opening of BOOT 2026, we invite you to look closer at the forces shaping the global waterfront. Today marks the launch of a vision designed to unveil the true extent of Greek influence across the entire maritime ecosystem.
A Singular Presence
Greece occupies a singular and commanding position in the global yachting landscape. Beyond being the world’s leading charter destination, it represents a vast, high-performance ecosystem. From pioneering shipyards and world-class marinas to visionary designers, brokers, and specialized service providers, Greek expertise is a foundational pillar of the international maritime economy.
The influence of this ecosystem extends across every sector present at BOOT Düsseldorf. The Hour of Greece is a curatorial initiative designed to unveil—to bring to light—this collective strength, making the magnitude of Greece’s contribution visible to every visitor and professional at the fair.
The Concept: A Symbolic Revelation
Developed independently by Alexandre Mimoglou within EURAN European Art Networks (Paris, France), this initiative proposes a symbolic, distributed cultural gesture.
It is designed to act as a moment of clarity:
Distributed Visibility: Using the existing presence of exhibitors connected to Greece—international and local—to create a unified signal.
A Synchronized Pulse: At a chosen moment during the fair (e.g., 14:00 CET), a shared visual identity appears simultaneously across multiple stands and halls.
A Platform for Excellence BOOT Düsseldorf
Boot Düsseldorf, as the world’s premier watersports and yachting stage, is the ideal environment for this revelation. The fair brings together the decision-makers who define the industry’s future. By introducing The Hour of Greece here, we highlight the synergy between Mediterranean lifestyle and global industrial excellence.
The Gateway to Art Marinas
This activation serves as the entry point to the broader EURAN Art Marinas vision: a long-term framework where marinas evolve into open-air cultural infrastructures.
An Invitation to Partner
This project is an independent theoretical proposal. Its goal is to open a cultural conversation and provide a vocabulary for the excellence we see at the fair today.

Sometimes, a cultural gesture does not require more space — only the right moment to be seen.
