TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION, SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION & QUALITY ASSURANCE

Technical Specification, Supplier Qualification & Quality Assurance | EURAN

BEFORE PRODUCTION

The material, process and supplier decisions determine the quality of everything that follows.

Industrial art production is not simply sending a file to a printer or ordering a frame. EURAN can define the technical system, qualify the companies that will execute it and establish the controls required to protect the approved result.

Material & process specification

The correct solution depends on artwork, environment, quantity, durability, weight, safety, manufacturability, budget and programme.

Printing substrates

Fine-art and photographic papers, direct printing on rigid boards, expanded PVC systems such as FOREX®, aluminium-composite panels such as DIBOND®, acrylic, metal, wood, textile and project-specific materials.

Printing technology

Evaluate printing process, machine capability, inks, colour behaviour, surface finish, dimensional limits and repeatability. High-end flatbed systems may be selected where technically appropriate.

Presentation & fixing

Define framing, glazing, mounting, backing, edge treatment and fixing systems according to the interior, usage and installation conditions.

Supplier identification & qualification

The objective is not simply to locate an available supplier. It is to identify the best technically appropriate production partner for the assignment .

EURAN may identify new printers, framers, fabricators and material manufacturers, or evaluate suppliers already appointed by the client. Capability is assessed through machinery, processes, materials, samples, tolerances, capacity, consistency, lead times and cost.

Factory-level quality assurance

Quality should be built into production, not discovered only after delivery.

Control at source

  • incoming material inspection
  • printing and colour review
  • surface, edge and dimensional inspection
  • framing and assembly checks
  • packaging review
  • approval before dispatch

Corrective action

Industrial work can produce deviations. EURAN identifies the cause, defines corrective action and verifies that the correction becomes part of the production method before the same defect is repeated at scale.

Continuous material and technology research

A specification accepted on one project is not automatically repeated on the next. Materials, inks, printers, framing systems and manufacturing technologies evolve continuously. EURAN reassesses the available options whenever a better combination of quality, durability, weight, safety, efficiency or cost may exist.

This approach derives from direct production experience: visiting printing and framing factories, working with material manufacturers, reviewing production as it happens and treating the approved prototype as the standard that industrial repetition must reproduce.

Working principle: define the standard · test it · produce it · control it · correct it where necessary · repeat it consistently at scale.

EURAN NEXT · GLOBAL GROWTH

One capability inside a wider growth architecture

This page forms part of EURAN's expanding portfolio of artistic, design, technical and professional capabilities. Selected capabilities can progress through direct commercial deployment, research and European cooperation, or both — according to the project.
