01 · What the call wants
The supported venture must satisfy the call's legal and financial eligibility requirements. EURAN's final applicant vehicle and legal-form eligibility are being verified before submission.
The application must evidence real customers, pilots or initial revenues. Catalogue size alone is not treated as traction; customer and transaction evidence is being assembled separately.
The venture must present a focused offer, a defined customer route and a credible intellectual-property position capable of supporting growth.
02 · What EURAN proposes
ART2FASHION™ begins with authored work by Alexandre Mimoglou and Maria Papafili and converts selected artworks into a focused fashion and textile offer. The immediate venture is deliberately narrow: a coherent authored collection developed for commercial validation, customer acquisition, licensing and repeatable production.
A much wider EURAN configuration library already exists, with more than 2,200 art-derived product configurations. For Shape, that library is treated as supporting infrastructure rather than the funded product itself.
03 · Why EURAN
Alexandre Mimoglou's contemporary colourful SPACE work provides one directly authored visual language for a new fashion and textile capsule.
Maria Papafili's original collections provide a second living-artist corpus for controlled reproduction, licensing and product development, subject to the formal rights structure used in the application.
EURAN's founder translated art into textile and design applications in the 1980s, including a textile collection commercialised through Knoll International Europe. This is method-origin evidence, not current traction.
EURAN already operates a large online configuration library showing its ability to translate visual works into repeatable product formats.
The existing workflow connects digital product configuration with print-on-demand production and fulfilment. Independent customer and revenue evidence is documented separately for the Shape application.
Shape focuses on the authored fashion and textile offer. Wider applications in interiors, hospitality, maritime and other sectors remain outside the funded first-market scope.
04 · The venture
A tightly curated selection of fashion and textile products derived from original EURAN-authored artworks provides a clear offer for market testing and customer acquisition.
The initial route combines direct sales with a limited number of qualified B2B licensing or specification opportunities rather than attempting to address every EURAN market at once.
On-demand production supports testing and international fulfilment while limiting conventional inventory exposure during the venture-acceleration phase.
05 · Why this matters
The Shape proposition is not a heritage archive, a public-domain merchandise programme or a broad cross-industry platform. It is the commercial acceleration of a living authored fashion and textile offer, supported by EURAN's existing configuration and production capability. The application concentrates on product-market fit, customer acquisition, licensing, commercial execution and investment readiness.
06 · Application
The 12 October submission remains conditional on final legal-entity eligibility and the strength of documented customer, pilot and revenue evidence. The Shape work plan is commercially distinct from the 30 October Innovation Projects proposal: Shape concerns venture execution and market acceleration, not the funded development of the Art-to-Design innovation system.
