The Art CCIs Creative Network
Executive summary

Executive summary

Why this industry page exists

What EURAN sees: The creative ecosystem contains abundant talent and ideas but often lacks a specific client, shared governance, user participation, budget discipline and a route from collaboration to implementation.

What EURAN proposes exploring

Return to the consortium logic of the original EURAN EEC dossier: one host, representative users, defined partners, work packages, responsibilities, resources and a demonstrator or pilot.

Why EURAN

Alexandros Mimoglou and Maria Papafili bring realised artistic, museum, exhibition, architecture, design and network experience. EURAN has organised international creator networks and cross-border cultural activity.

How it could begin

One host organisation, one clearly defined challenge and one stakeholder-led project-formation laboratory.

01 · Status

Ambitious proposition, accurate status

The Art CCIs Creative Network is an authored EURAN proposition. It is not yet an operating network, validated index, active prize or completed sector-wide programme. The page identifies relevant experience, proposes concrete operations and shows how one credible project could be formed with a client, representative users and the necessary partners.

Scope of the Creative branch: Within EURAN, “CCIs — Creative” designates the cultural and creative ecosystem outside the dedicated “CCIs — Luxury” branch. It includes museums, foundations, galleries, art centres, artists, architects, designers, curators, cultural institutions, universities, public cultural bodies, creative enterprises, publishing, media and cultural technology. Selected organisations and projects may also connect with the Luxury branch where relevant.

02 · Strategic potential

From a network of contacts to a coalition capable of producing one project

The decisive creative operation is not to assemble another abstract community. It is to identify a real need, bring the necessary users and specialists into the room, define who does what, and determine whether one idea deserves a funded prototype.

Deep Dive status: A dedicated, source-checked Deep Dive for this industry has not yet been published. No placeholder or unrelated recording is presented.
03 · Professional foundation

Realised experience, transferable competence and authored propositions

Realised experience

Alexandros Mimoglou and Maria Papafili bring realised work in art, architecture, design, museums, exhibitions, interiors and international creator relations. EURAN has also created and managed a network of more than 400 artists, architects and designers.

Transferable competence

Exhibition organisation, artistic direction, creator selection, spatial thinking, production coordination and network management can inform new CCI projects, but each project still requires the relevant specialist and user partners.

Authored propositions

The Circle, Dream Team, creative marketplace, innovation laboratory and cross-industry programmes are authored propositions. They are not active organisations or completed services.

Scope: The realised record supports EURAN’s capacity to initiate and coordinate relevant work. It does not by itself validate the predicted commercial effects or the new sector-wide systems described here.

Relevant EURAN authored systems

How the common architecture may apply here

Within a defined Cultural & Creative Industries Appointment, COS™ may frame the relationship among creators, institutions, users, technology and host industries. OPS™ structures the progression from listening and governance to laboratory, prototype, assessment and decision. SIOS™ may support structured research across participants, resources, intellectual property, markets and institutional conditions. CCPI™ may be adapted for cultural and creative assessment where jointly approved criteria and evidence exist. None is presented as an already deployed creative-industries system.

These are authored EURAN instruments. Their relevance, scope, criteria and deliverables are defined only within the appropriate written Appointment.

05 · Proposed six-step path

From strategic question to evidence-based decision

The path is available as an authored method. Only the first analytical stages can begin under appointment; prototype, evaluation and wider deployment require the real coalition and the evidence produced by a pilot.

06 · Project-forming coalition

Who must participate from the beginning

Partners are not an audience added after the concept is finished. They are part of project definition, feasibility, budgeting, governance and execution.

07 · First credible pilot

Start small enough to learn—and serious enough to matter

Begin with one host organisation and a limited group of representative creators and users. Conduct structured listening, identify the most credible common need, choose one project proposition, define the required team and produce a funded pilot recommendation. The first result is a decision-ready project—not the announcement of a worldwide network.

08 · Constellation origins

Where these propositions came from

These earlier newsletters contain the intellectual origins of the selected propositions. They document the evolution of the ideas; they do not document implementation.

Strong creative projects are not built by ideas alone. They begin when creators, users, institutions, authority and resources are brought into one workable project architecture.

10 · Professional engagement

From an authored proposition to a jointly defined project

Initial qualification may take place remotely or in person. Where a dedicated journey is requested before a Professional Appointment exists, travel arrangements must be agreed and organised in advance. Substantive project definition, diagnosis, site examination and recommendations begin only under the appropriate written paid Appointment.
