01 · The artistic principle

From Artistic DNA to a Second Artistic State

A painting, drawing, sculpture, photograph or digital artwork contains more than its visible image. Composition, colour, gesture, scale, rhythm, tension, atmosphere, spatial relationships and narrative possibility establish an internal artistic universe: its Artistic DNA .

EURAN's Performative Extension is the artistic process through which that internal logic can generate another work in time. The result is a Performative Artwork™ : not a moving copy, not a digital twin, but another artistic state connected to its source through artistic lineage.

Movement alone does not create a new artistic proposition. Artistic intention, judgement and authorship remain decisive.

ARTWORK → ARTISTIC DNA → PERFORMATIVE EXTENSION → PERFORMATIVE ARTWORK

Concept developed by Alexandros Mimoglou, Constellation #77, October 16, 2026.

02 · One system · Three chapters

Three Distinct Artistic Territories

CHAPTER 01

Pure Performance™

Autonomous artistic performance conceived directly through movement, choreography, figures, rhythm, colour, sound, and space. The performance is itself the original artistic proposition; it need not derive from a pre-existing visual artwork.

Initial demonstration: Brown Choreography.

CHAPTER 02

Art to Performance™

An existing original artwork becomes the generative source of a new time-based artwork. The source remains intact while its artistic logic is extended into movement, duration, sound, spatial development or encounter.

Initial demonstrations: ALEXIS 0005002300010009; Maria Papafili's Two Ladies — The Encounter.

CHAPTER 03

Design to Performance™

Art-derived design enters the performative field. Fashion, textiles, wearable art, products and designed environments acquire a temporal and performative expression, linking original artistic identity with lived experience.

Initial demonstration: Green Motion — art-derived swimsuit.

03 · Initial artistic demonstrations

The First Performative Works

04 · Artistic integrity

Authorship, Transformation Charter & Technology

Artistic lineage, not duplication. The original work retains its identity and authorship. A Performative Artwork introduces a distinct artistic contribution whose creators, collaborators, permissions and rights must be defined for each project.

The Transformation Charter. EURAN defines the freedoms, limits and intentions governing the relationship between source work and performative extension. The central question is not what technology can do, but what the new artwork should do.

AI as medium. Artificial intelligence and digital tools can support movement, continuity, image transformation, sound and spatial development. Technology serves the artistic proposition; it does not replace it.

A second artistic state. The source can remain in a studio, collection, archive or museum while its performative descendant circulates independently through exhibitions, screenings, architecture and cultural settings, subject to the applicable rights.

05 · Applications & circulation

From One Artwork to an Artistic Universe

Artists, estates, archives, collections, galleries, museums and cultural organisations can commission, co-produce, present and circulate Performative Artworks. A body of work may generate multiple performances; an archive may become a source of new artistic production; a museum may commission a new artistic state of a work under its stewardship.

Within EURAN's Cultural Operating System — COS™ , Performative Artworks adds time to Artistic Intelligence: movement, sound, spatial development, dramaturgy and the possibility of encounter.
